At one point, looking impeccably groomed, Emily was entered in several of the contests at the Bassett Griffon Vendeen Club's fun day.
I can't remember the particular competiton pictured here, but she did win the runner up prize in the 'dog with the longest eyelashes' contest.
She was robbed. Her eyelashes were by far the longest!
The sequence below shows one of Emily's legendary escapes as it happens.
Not only is she biting through our supposedly dog proof deer fence, there is also a metal section behind it which she pushes under in order to make her getaway.
Fortunately on this occasion, Tristan is waiting in the other side (out of view of the camera) ready to intercept her.
Now is this a dog with character or what?
