The family have dedicated their hearts, their time and resources to rescuing the dogs and bringing them to live in the sanctuary of their home. Unlike conventional rescues, they do not take dogs from one situation and search for alternative homes for them. Instead they guarantee their charges a safe and healing environment, a warm and comfortable house to live in, the best diet, and endless, unquestioning love. But perhaps more importantly, they have a truly forever home, from which they will not be turned away or rejected, ever.
Mark travels all over North America to rescue those that they have been guided to help. There are currently no less than 33 avatars residing with them on their property in British Columbia, Canada, as well as 12 other 'special cases' they have been requested to assist with.
They also find, rescue and transport avatars for others who are willing to have a being of light in their own lives and are prepared to guarantee them a forever home. You can read many of the rescue stories in each of the books Mark has written, but the link to Nakita's story will provide you with an example of one of the rescue stories.
It goes without saying that the upkeep of such an endeavor is financially taxing on the family who give everything they have for the avatars and other dogs in their care.
Since starting out on this journey 20-years ago many, many wonderful people have stepped forward to help realize this quest and continue to do so. Their contributions to the pack's welfare are vital in ensuring that the dog sanctuary is able to continue. Mark and Sharon, along with all the dogs, are eternally grateful for the generosity and support of those who are drawn to contribute. It goes without saying that ALL funds the rescue receives go towards the care and welfare of these wonderful beings. Resources are used for purchasing everything the dogs need such as the (over one ton of) dog food they eat every month, vet bills, bedding, medications, and supplements.
